Your child has no doubt been experiencing whole class instrumental/vocal tuition (Wider Opportunities) provision at school as part of the government’s Wider Entitlement pledge that all children should have the opportunity to play a musical instrument.
The pupils usually learn to use their voices or to play an instrument as a whole class in the same way that they receive their literacy or numeracy teaching and often the class teacher will learn with them. In addition to their growing music making skills, research has shown that pupils develop their team working skills, their self discipline and become more confident as individuals so benefiting their overall development.
This tuition has been enhanced by PrimaryMusic resources which include songs, quizzes, pieces and videos. The materials are also available to download to a computer hard drive, a disk or memory stick and use at home. Additionally the music can be printed out and the backing tracks saved as mp3 files.
This accessibility encourages exciting and engaging music making not only in the lessons, at school clubs but also at home where they can share their new skills with their families and friends.
Everyone loves using PrimaryMusic - but don’t take our word for it, why not read what teachers, pupils and Music Services have to say.
PrimaryMusic is only £95 per annum to gain access to thousands of resources for KS1, KS2 and Wider Opportunities!
