Andy Murray

Andy Murray gained a 1st class honours degree in music and spent many years as a successful Secondary Head of Music. He went on to become Music Project Officer with NCET, producing national guidance and training materials concerning use of technology in music education. He has authored official materials for DfES, Becta, TDA and Ofsted as well as several commercial classroom packs published by Heinemann and Badger Publishing.

As a consultant, his clients include BBC, Sibelius Software, Roland, LSO and NAME and he contributed to the content and software design for ABRSM’s award winning SoundJunction website. Andy plays guitar and appeared on Top Of The Pops in the 1980s. He has composed music for film and TV as well as for education.
